TAILORED
HEALTH & SAFETY

Train hard. Never recklessly.

Tailored provides general adult fitness, performance and nutrition guidance. These boundaries are built into every assessment, programme and weekly review.

Stop training and seek urgent medical help

if you experience chest pain, fainting, severe or unusual shortness of breath, signs of a serious allergic reaction, or another medical emergency. Do not use the website to obtain emergency advice.

Who Tailored is for

Tailored is intended for adults aged 18 and over who are generally able to exercise. Before a programme is created, members must complete the safety screening honestly. A programme is not generated when the screening identifies a reason that appropriate medical clearance may be needed.

What Tailored does not provide

  • Medical diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation.
  • Individual care from a registered doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist or other clinician.
  • Prescription drug, performance-enhancing drug or supplement protocols.
  • Fight technique, sparring supervision or concussion clearance.

Fighter Performance boundaries

Fighter Performance supports strength, conditioning, mobility, recovery and everyday fuelling around MMA, Muay Thai, boxing and related training. It does not prescribe rapid fight-week weight cutting, intentional dehydration, sauna protocols, fluid restriction, diuretics, laxatives or vomiting. Members should follow their governing body's rules and obtain suitable in-person supervision for combat-sport practice.

Meal-plan and allergy boundaries

Meal plans are general adult nutrition guidance built from the food preferences and avoidances entered by the member. Calories, macros and portions are starting estimates because brands and cooking methods vary. Automated filtering cannot guarantee that a packaged food, restaurant meal or preparation area is free from an allergen or cross-contamination; members must check every label and use only foods they know are safe. Severe allergies, medical diets, eating-disorder history and clinical nutrition needs require an appropriate registered dietitian or clinician.

Injuries, pain and recovery

Members should stop any movement that causes sharp pain, dizziness, chest pain, loss of balance or unusual breathlessness. Weekly reviews may reduce training load when sleep, energy or soreness signals are poor, but this is not a medical assessment. Persistent or worsening symptoms need an appropriate healthcare professional.

Nutrition guidance

Calorie and macronutrient targets are estimates for general guidance and are reviewed against trends. Tailored does not provide therapeutic diets or guidance for active eating disorders, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, kidney disease, diabetes medication or other conditions requiring individual clinical care.
